Far From The Salem Crowd
The fine city of Salem, MA has long capitalized on its witchy past. While the real location of the infamous witch trials was actually the nearby town of Danvers that hasn't stopped a flourishing trade in lousy museums and general tourist flim-flam.
But look beyond the brickabrak and you'll find it's also a wonderful incubator of great bars and restaurants. Which brings me to one of our favorites - the Far From The Tree craft cider house. Once this wooden tasting room was an auto garage - the double doors are still heaved open each day. Now, it's without doubt our favorite location to supp a range of craft brewer cask ciders.
Try one of their tasting flight and select from around 12 ever changing flavored brewed with light touches of Cardamon, Mint, Basil or Rosemary it's an experience satisfyingly witch-free.
For a real #taketheworld tip, order a Growler to go and bring it back for refills. For, under ten bucks a time, you can have your very own tastings instead.
