The Stanton Social is an eatery situated  on 99 Stanton in the East Village with a brunch worthy of its own post.  

 Long story short try the French Onion Soup Dumplings.  

 But it's also a place with epic cocktails, most notably this wondrous delight.  Built from Bullit Bourbon, figs, lemons and a pear-cinnamon syrup it's as if every Christmas you've ever had bumped into your best Manhattan and decided to get cosy.
