The Pinnacle of Meats

There are many extraordinary sides to Iceland.

For many it’s the billing as ‘Land of volcanoes’, for others because it’s the set for countless scenes from Game of Thrones....and for anyone who enjoys being clad head to toe in ‘active wear’, then this is the country for you.

But as a place with some of the best restaurants?  That’s a suprising statement for many to hear. 

Amd for the brace of both Meat AMDS fosh versions I can only say, welcome to the ‘markdurren’ family.  We’ve visited Fish before....but oh my....Grill is epic on so many levels.

 With cocktails as vibrant as your best herbaceous border as an opener, who can complain?  We started with the Puffin...and caroused our way through pretty much every meat board they had - each dripping with juices and neatly stacked pickles and sides - all set in a wooden, yet modern downstairs space.

For once, there is no #taketheworld, just #goeat
